Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, Joaquina is now based in New York City. She graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in 2023 and from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in 2025. She has also continued her training through professional workshops in London at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Joaquina has participated in several theatre productions and stage readings, as well as commercials and short films. She is passionate about exploring and sharing her culture and the blend she has discovered in New York through her characters and storytelling, always seeking to bring authenticity, heart, and a unique perspective to every project she takes on.
